How is it that brilliance always seems to come at the most inopportune times? Like when you're in the shower? Or your head is just hitting the pillow?
Had a flash of, well, likely not brilliance but some insight into the direction this crazy thing might be heading. Two thoughts guide the rest:

Write about what you know.
Write about what you love.

These are a few things I either know and/or love...

-being female
-being Catholic
-family and friends
-growing up Hispanic in the Southwest
-baking

So, maybe these musings will be about how these come together to form my reality?
